The six magical fairies of Winx Club have just come back on TV with a new series of 26 episodes!!

Starting from 29th January 2007 the third season is being aired every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 7.45 on Rai 2: the fairies of Magix are ready to thrill their fans with fabulous adventures, misteries to unveal and totally new characters who are going to enter the beloved world of Winx Club.

In the third series Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Layla are attending the last year of school to become true fairies. They’re more enthousiastic than ever, but they are expected to show great skills to achieve the ultimate level thus becoming real Fairies. The first step will be the transformation into Enchantix, an evolution that will increase their powers, with a whole change of look as a consequence, in clothes as well as in hairstyle.
The Specialists are always at Winx' side in their cool adventures, but new creatures are going to help them too - new fairies and beautiful mermaids -coming from all Magix Dimension and making friends with the girls of Winx Club!
Also the Pixies, the minifairies of the Dark Forest, are ready to join the Winx with all their sparkling sympathy and energy!
But a terrible menace is looming on Magix' horizon: a mysteryous and wicked sorcerer named Valtor, imprisoned in the Omega Dimension for a long time, has been set free by the Trix, and is now ready to launch his challenge. The cruel sorcerer wants to conquer all the magical energy of all the known planets, in order to become the most powerful sorcerer ever existed!
Will the Winx be able to defeat this new grand enemy?
New enchanted worlds, hidden secrets and fabulous adventures are waiting the Fairies of Alfea!
After Italy, Winx Club, the only Italian cartoon known all over the world, from America to Europe, is about to launch its third season in the rest of the world too (starting from spring 2007).

Along with that, a variety of matching merchandise: from new collections of Enchantix and Mermaids Dolls, already available in toys' shops, to a rich publishing plan: books, sticker albums (to be released by the end of February), magazines and many other items.
There's more. Among the greatest news of this year for Italy:
- the Winx 3 DVD Collection, distributed by a new partner, 01 Distribution, with a press and TV campaign planned for the release (march/april 2007)
- Internet website constantly updated: www.winxclub.com that counts, only in Italy, counts more than 2 millions visitors per month
- a promotion in all Mc Donald's starting from February with exclusive Winx gifts offered for every Happy Meal!!
Speaking with numbers: Winx is now one of the most interesting cartoons, also from a business point of view, having given rise to a business originated by the selling of its products (more than 500 in Europe) that overcomes a billion euros!
Only looking at Italy, the Winx is the most sold doll everywhere. It's the number one licence in Toys Category with an increase of 56.8% from 2005 (NDP data). And the Italian Winx Club Magazine that releases 120,000 copies per month and often sells more than 80% of copies, winning 41% quota of pre-teen and teenagers publishing market!!!
