Licensing

Rainbow develops the licensing strategy for all its IP’s on a global basis and then builds on that strategy in each country through its dedicated sales team. In selected markets, the company also works with leading licensing agencies to fulfil its consumer product strategies.

To enhance the licensing opportunities of the various brands in its global portfolio, Rainbow creates dedicated in-house style guides, which are designed and continually updated to reflect different cultural needs, as well as meet the requirements of individual licensees and retailers with whom it collaborates.

Rainbow also makes its expertise available to third party partners, helping to manage IP licensing rights in selected markets.

A wealth of expertise in the licensing world, an in-depth knowledge of retail, and experience of brand partnerships with key market players across a variety of categories, are just an example of the core attributes from within Rainbow’s in-house licensing team.  This insight and expertise have contributed to the success of brands such as Winx Club and 44 Cats, placing the Rainbow group amongst the top 20 licensors in the annual Top 150 Global Licensors list, published by Informa PLC (License Global 2020).
